Student Visas Details

Indian nationals planning to study in Belgian universities must obtain a student visa to facilitate their stay:

National Visa (D-Visa): This visa permits a stay in Belgium for more than 90 days. Upon arrival, applicants can apply for a residency permit to extend their stay beyond the initial 90 days.

Long-stay visa for studies (Type C): This temporary residence permit is issued for the duration of the student’s academic program.

Student residence permit (Type A): Upon arrival in Belgium and registration with the local authorities, students can apply for this permit, which is valid for five years.
